Support

There are many ways you can support The Carlisle Indian School Project.

We strive to educate the public about the full history of Carlisle and honor the achievements, struggles, and contributions of the students who attended. We also look beyond Carlisle and seek to educate the public about the far-reaching impact of the boarding school era, not only on the students who attended but also on generations of Native Americans to come. Here’s how you can help.

Donate

Donations to our 501(c)3 help support our mission to educate others and help us work toward our goal of building a heritage center and museum near the original school site in Pennsylvania. We want to create a place to honor and give a voice to the thousands of students who attended Carlisle and the many others impacted by the boarding school era. We appreciate your support in helping us build a lasting tribute to these students.

Visit

Our board members in the Pennsylvania area would be happy to meet you, give a tour of the Carlisle Indian Industrial School site, answer any questions you may have, and help point you toward other resources to increase your knowledge of CIIS.

Share

Whether you’re familiar with the stories of trauma and triumph from the boarding school era or have first learned about them from our organization, we encourage you to share what you have learned with others and invite them to support our mission.
